Anyone in N. Metro Atlanta, GA willing to Run
I am very, very new to running and would love to couple up with a few newbies to see if we could hit some goals together. I would like to run the Zoom 5K this fall. (www.zoomrun.com) I was going to go for the Half Marathon, but figured, I’ve got the rest of my life to be a runner. Let’s start at a place that makes sense.
I just finished a 6 week/4-day per week boot camp. I think the boot camp prepared me mentally more than physically for training. I have lost a couple of pounds, but now I am looking to become leaner and meaner
I run at Tribble Mill Park in Grayson and at my local gym. Let me know if you are interested in joining in on the fun ![]()

Sweat Away
It’s my first day on Sweat365.com. I wanted to join the Human Race with Nike and Starbucks, only to find that I needed to purchase $100 sneakers and then connect it to my iPod and then run alone. Nike does not have any marathons in Atlanta, GA. Anywho, I am glad I found Sweat. Hope to meet some great runner friends here. I am open to any runners out there with bad knees.
I am a first timer, as evidenced by my name. My avatar is picture of my favorite place to run; Tribble Mill Park in Grayson, GA. Everytime I cross this bridge, I know I am at the half way point and I just get this surge of energy to press on.

I’m a woman from Lawrenceville Georgia USA, born in 1975.
My favorite sports include: running cycling swimming yoga walking
My goals are: Running makes me feel good. I’ve lost about 20 lbs and would like to lose an additional 40.

Start ‘er up
